Roncalli students are having an extraordinary year! Our girls’ tennis, boys’ golf, and boys’ cross country teams have all finished in the top 7 in the state, and the joint Roncalli-Central girls soccer team repeated as state champs. Our football and volleyball teams earned conference championships and are in the playoffs. Our band, choir, and oral interp students are receiving accolades for their performances. Our students’ academic achievement continues to be superior, and they practice their faith through Christian service to the community. The year is truly off to a terrific start! As in years past, the Cavalier Campaign annual fund is making an important difference for Roncalli. The Cavalier Campaign helps fund teacher salaries, which is our largest investment and rightly so because teachers are the largest contributors to student success. Your support helps our technology program too. Our laptop program for juniors and seniors continues, most of our K-6 classrooms and several in 7-12 have a high tech white board connected to a computer, and we have significantly upgraded our technology infrastructure throughout the school system. The Cavalier Campaign also lets us expand our tuition assistance program. About 20% of our students receive financial aid, which is so important in these difficult times.
