Roncalli Foundation
The Roncalli Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation established in 1971 to provide support to the Aberdeen Catholic School System. It serves as an endowment fund for the ACSS by making annual payments to the school out of the growth and income its investments produce. Gifts to the Roncalli Foundation are tax-deductible.
As of June 30, 2012, the Foundation’s assets were valued at $5.02 million. An additional $189,000 in funds are segregated for charitable gift annuities. Since its founding in 1971, the Foundation has received more than $4.2 million in donations and has made payments to the ACSS totaling more than $3.2 million.
