Volunteering
Volunteers are the backbone of the ACSS. Whether it’s in the classroom, on the athletic field, or in a fundraising event, Roncalli relies on volunteers to help us do what we do. Parents are our most frequent volunteers, and we have many opportunities for them to help.
Our parent organizations—Home and School Association and Booster Club—offer numerous volunteer opportunities of which the following are only a few:
- Home and School Walk-a-thon
- Sock Hop
- Carnival
- Booster Club Concession Stand
Additionally, our fundraising events, including the Roncalli Ball and Cavalier Classic Golf Tournament, rely on volunteers for their success.
Prayer volunteers are especially prized. Intercessors pray in our chapel every hour school is in session for our students and staff.
Family Ambassadors help new families become accustomed to the school and also help prospective Roncalli parents learn more about the system.
Throughout our system, teachers find parent volunteers to be a mainstay of support in educating our students.
