Our system has incorporated STEM education into our curriculum. By adding an ‘R’ for religion and an ‘A’ for the arts, we believe our students are offered a well-rounded approach to this curriculum. Learning is different in a STREAMLab. Students take responsibility for their own learning. For this reason, teaching professionals in a STREAMLab are called "Facilitators". The title reflects their role, to facilitate learning. Most successful facilitators exhibit common characteristics - ability to empower students, model lifelong learning and demonstrate strong time and project management skills. As a facilitator you won't teach a specific discipline, rather you will manage, mentor and guide student learning and success. Candidates should have CTE endorsement in the areas of computer programming, robotics and multimedia design or be willing to obtain this certification.
